Nico Karagosian, MBA, CFRE
Vice President of Development

Nico is the Vice President of Development for United Memorial Medical Center and the Executive Director of the UMMC Foundation, positions he has held since July of 2008. In this dual role, Nico is responsible for creating a strategic plan that includes the comprehensive development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of all fundraising efforts, so as to strengthen the ability of United Memorial to accomplish its mission.  As a member of UMMC’s Senior Management Team, Nico also has oversight of all marketing and community relations operations of United Memorial. 

Nico earned his MBA and MS in Health Administration from the State University of New York, and his BA from Hobart College.  He has also earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification.

Roxanne Ross
Development Assistant

Roxanne is the Development Assistant for the United Memorial Medical Center Foundation, a position she has held since 2000.  In this role, Roxanne is responsible for providing support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors of the United Memorial Medical Center Foundation in all areas of foundation operation through clerical, administrative and bookkeeping activities.   Roxanne manages the general office functions for the organization, including the financial, database management, and donor correspondence duties.

Roxanne earned her Associates in Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) Degree from Erie Community College, and has completed several advanced training programs for Raiser’s Edge Donor Management Software , Quicken and QuickBooks.
